About Us

Flipper's Swimming Academy Ltd, is owned and run by Anna Tindall F.I.S.T.C. She qualified as a baby swimming instructor in 2000 and an Amateur Swimming Association Instructor in 2001.

She spent 5 years teaching for the largest baby swimming organisation in the South-East, before setting up Flipper's Swimming Academy Ltd, in 2004.

She is regularly C.R.B. checked and re-trains in First Aid every 2 years.

She has also had 10 years experience of photographing babies and children underwater. All the photographs featured on this site were taken by Anna Tindall in the Oakley Road pool in Bromley. The parents of these children have very kindly allowed these photos to be featured on the site (many thanks!!!).

She is a single parent to a beautiful boy, Daniel, who has inspired her to encourage all the children she teaches to be as happy and as confident in the water as her own fantastic "Little Flipper"! He makes his mother very proud everyday.

The ethos of "Flippers" is to provide a personal, high quality service to a small number of clients. This will ensure that all the children taught at Flipper's will be known well by the instructor and helped individually to achieve to the best of their ability. Classes are relaxed and friendly and babies and children are encouraged to progress at their own pace.
